Festival Art @ the Medway and Official Festival Opening
An eclectic exhibition of local and regional art from young artists, new creative practitioners and industry professionals, including work from Deborah Goldenglove, Vicki C Nottingham, Don Wazejewski, Ann Leblanc, Sian Trezise-Hardinge, Mark Wears, Adam Robinson, Keith How and a special display of a painting in oils by Bert Broomhead with a short introduction by Amaryllis Rae.

Mooney & Wears back to their old tricks, this time interrogating an unsuspecting Amaryllis and the work of her father, legendary artist Bert Broomhead, whose painting ‘The Uplit Tree’ can be seen at the Medway Centre throughout the Festival.

Bakewell Youth Theatre presents ‘Into the Woods Junior’.
Book by James Lapine, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. A magical mystery tour through the woods featuring such characters as Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack (of Beanstalk fame), a few princes, a witch, the wolf and many more. Magical for both adults and children.
